{ About Us }
Villa Esperanza, founded in 2007, is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 non-profit in Austin, Texas. Our aim is to encourage an active, sustained culture of learning in communities of first generation immigrants from Latin America through long-term mentoring and scholarship programs.
The name Villa Esperanza perfectly encompasses the organization’s philosophy of service. Certainly, education is the cornerstone of progress, but education cannot truly empower if achieved alone. Villa is a place where people come together, collaborating to build the kind of progress that returns and enriches a culture, making hope something substantial and worth investing in.
