Fundacion Vivamos Mejor - Ecuador
Location: Guayaquil, Ecuador
Since 1986 Fundacion Vivamos Mejor-Ecuador (FVM-E), a non-profit organization in Ecuador, has provided early childhood education in the impoverished area of Mapasingue in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The core of the FVM-E’s activities is a nursery school for children between the ages of 20 months and 5 years who come from very poor, disadvantaged backgrounds. Surrounding this core are school related community programs, educational and vocational activities for the adults, and a clinic staffed by a dentist, a pediatrician and a psychologist. Villa Esperanza believes in FVM-E holistic approach to the fight against poverty through good health, nutrition and education. We are proud to contribute to this effort by helping provide psychological services to the children who attend FVM-E’s school and their families.
Local Organizations
We receive generous support from several local businesses and artists in the Austin community who have given time and resources to help us promote our fundraisers and bring attention to our causes. Thanks to all of you for you support!
